The Women's Institute
About The WI
The Women’s Institute (WI) is a unique organisation shaped by its members. It is the largest women’s organisation in the UK and prides itself on being a trusted place for all women of all generations, to share experiences and learn from each other.
The North Leigh branch of the WI is affiliated to the National and Oxfordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes.
When We Meet
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall, North Leigh. Visitors are always welcome.
There is a varied programme of speakers over the year and an outing or ramble in August, and members can participate in a large programme of activities organised by the County Federation.
Members can take part in our online ‘Denman At Home’ courses, learning new skills, brushing up on their history or taking their hobby to the next level . It’s all there for every ability and every interest.
