North Leigh Youth Project (NLYP)

The North Leigh Youth Project (NYLP) offers a safe and positive environment where young people can meet, socialise and develop their interests and hobbies.

NYLP is a vibrant club with an excellent team of Youth Leaders who have all attended Young Leaders’ courses and have even presented sessions at Oxfordshire Youth Networking Conferences. Partly funded by several local organisations, NYLP runs 4 sessions a week catering for young people from school years 6 to 10.

There is an exciting and varied programme such as a trip to Disneyland Paris, residential weekends and abseiling for Christian Aid. NYLP also runs a week long Summer Club during the Summer holidays, including ice skating, a trip to the seaside, swimming and many other activities.

NYLP has become an integral and highly regarded part of village life and is well supported by parents who really appreciate the opportunities offered to the young people of North Leigh.
